Season M-5 Week 4 Meta Report: Raichu-Mega-Y leads S on win rate as Sneasler and Incineroar return

This is the last week of Season M-5 on Reg M-B, reading the last two weeks of results across 33 tournaments and 1,562 player entries. Season M-6 starts on September 2, and Reg M-C is expected to arrive with it. Raichu-Mega-Y is the story again: it now holds the best win rate in S at 54.1%, it was on four of the seven recent event winners, and the team built around it is the most-played team in the format. Sneasler, Incineroar and Garchomp all move into S, while Pelipper, Farigiraf and Staraptor-Mega drop to A. Kingambit holds number one. Meta score is a results-led composite from every 30+ player Champions Reg M-B tournament on Limitless in the window. It blends tournament usage, win rate (shrunk toward the mean so small samples are not over-rewarded), top-cut conversion, and event wins, each weighted by how large the event was. Tiers come from the natural gaps in score.

What moved in S
Kingambit is the number one Pokémon at 167.4 and has held the top spot for the whole season. Basculegion stays second. Sylveon and Raichu-Mega-Y both climb a place, to third and fourth, and Charizard-Mega-Y slides to fifth. The three new names are Sneasler, Incineroar and Garchomp. Garchomp is back after one week out, which fits what the board said last time: it left on win rate rather than usage, and it has stayed on plenty of teams. Pelipper, Farigiraf and Staraptor-Mega are the three that dropped, though Pelipper keeps a 54.3% win rate at the top of A, so rain has cooled in results rather than in raw performance.
Fake Out support is running the format
Three of the eight Pokémon in S now run Fake Out: Raichu-Mega-Y, Sneasler and Incineroar. That is the clearest pattern in this board. The turn Fake Out buys is what these teams are built around, whether it is protecting a Mega Evolution, setting up an Unburden sweep, or just denying a lead its first move. Raichu-Mega-Y is the best example. It pairs Fake Out with Lightning Rod, which pulls Electric moves off its partner and turns them into a Special Attack boost, and Zap Cannon threatens a full paralyse behind it. Its 54.1% win rate is the highest in S.

The most-played team in the format
LeCehlou won the 88-player Imperium Champions #4 with Raichu-Mega-Y, Staraptor-Mega, Arcanine-Hisui, Farigiraf, Sylveon and Kingambit. Those same six are now the most-played team in the format at 102 appearances, ahead of everything else by a clear margin. It is a support-first build: Fake Out and Lightning Rod from Raichu-Mega-Y, Farigiraf holding Trick Room and redirection duty, Sylveon for spread Fairy damage, and Arcanine-Hisui bringing Rock Head Head Smash off a Focus Sash. Movers in A
Arcanine-Hisui has the best win rate on the board at 55.9%, which is what the most-played team is getting out of it. Pelipper is right behind at 54.3% even after dropping out of S. Swampert-Mega (53.9%) and Venusaur (53.5%) both hold high marks, and Archaludon (52.5%) keeps the rain shell intact in A. Farigiraf and Staraptor-Mega land at the top of the tier after leaving S, both still on the format's most-played team, so neither has gone away.
Cores that showed up
- Floette-Mega + Kingambit: still the most-used pair by a wide margin at 434 appearances.
- Raichu-Mega-Y + Sylveon: the Fake Out and spread-Fairy pairing at the centre of the most-played team.
- Basculegion + Charizard-Mega-Y: a 59.4% win rate together, the best mark among the top pairs.
- Grimmsnarl + Pelipper: the rain opener at 58.1%, screens plus Drizzle.

What to expect next
Season M-5 closes with a support-led format. If you want what is winning, the Raichu-Mega-Y and Sylveon shell is the most-played team for a reason, and Fake Out pressure is the common thread across most of S. Kingambit and Basculegion remain the two safest individual picks. Rain is the archetype to watch rather than to write off, since Pelipper still holds one of the best win rates on the board. Season M-6 starts on September 2 and Reg M-C is expected with it, so this is the last board before the format may change.
